Add Iowa to the List!!

The Iowa Supreme Court has legalized Same Sex Marriage!!! The Supreme Court stated: "We are firmly convinced the exclusion of gay and lesbian people from the institution of civil marriage does not substantially further any important governmental objective. They also said: "The Legislature has excluded a historically disfavored class of persons from a supremely important civil institution without a constitutionally sufficient justification."

This is a mid-western state that is more enlightened than the so-called enlightened state of california. Hopefully the california Supreme Court will again find that DISCRIMINATION is again UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
